A new discovery in the form of a nine-hole board game has been developed by researchers to help improve public understanding and awareness of coronavirus and how the infection is spread. Educating the public is key to curbing future infection rates, says researchers.

"A lot of misconceptions still abound around how coronavirus is contracted and spreads," researchers said, adding it was important to bring this new educational message to the masses so that people could be better prepared when an outbreak occurred.

 Those with chronic or serious health challenges may be restricted from using public transport and visiting public spaces such as bars, restaurants and shopping malls;

* Avoid contact with infected people; especially when in crowded places like buses and mosques.

What should I do?

* If you are feeling unwell and you think you may have COVID-19, call your doctor or visit your local clinic for a COVID-19 test.

* If you have travelled to a country where there has been an outbreak, it is important to inform your doctor or visit a clinic to be tested for COVID-19.

* It is important to follow the directions of the public health department. Do not attend large public gatherings.

* Avoid visiting public transport

* Avoid social contact, especially with those who are unwell. 

Avoid shaking hands, touching your face and touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
